SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

The primary responsibility of the Value-Add/Shipping & Receiving position is to support the Operations Manager in the daily activities needed to sustain the location. The Value-Add personnel will manufacture hoses and work on projects that require the assembly of components and systems. This position is crucial to maintaining the appearance, function and efficiency of the branch.

JOB DUTIES:
  • Accurately assemble components and systems per prints, diagrams and schematics with little or no supervision.
  • Manufacture hoses per EPG assembly procedure and customer specifications.
  • Maintain hose assembly area according to EPG cleanliness standards. Keep hose ends stocked and dump hose barrel as needed.
  • Maintain the appearance of the EPG facility. May include snow removal, weed removal, and garbage pick-up.
  • Assist shipping/receiving as necessary to ensure timely receipt of products, accurate shipping to internal/external customers and inventory accuracy.
  • Organize and maintain the designated pallet area.
  • Make local part runs as necessary to assist the Sales and Service Departments.
  • Other duties assigned by Management.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to read hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical schematics. Ability to read assembly prints and diagrams. Strong computer skills, customer service orientated, good communication skills (written and verbal), clean driving record, ability to lift 75 lbs. on a regular basis, ability to efficiently operate a forklift, must be a team player.
